Dear Developmental Education Colleagues,
Are you seeking a research tool to support new developmental educational programs on campus or to include in your publishing endeavors? Research in Developmental Education (RiDE), published by the National Center for Developmental Education four times a year is an effective tool with supportive evidence for your programs. Sample articles can be found at www.ncde.appstate.edu/ride/htm.
National Study of Developmental Education II: Baseline Data for Community Colleges by Katherine Gerlaugh, Lizette Thompson, Hunter Boylan, and Hildreth Davis presented at the recent NADE conference was a popular article, Volume 20, Issue 4 of RiDE.
Attendees sought the article for findings that support curriculum and program development and shared it with their community college and university administrators. Increased orders for back issues are testament to the value of RiDE’s content and long-shelf life.
RiDE is available at the low cost of $14.50 per year; 2-year subscriptions are $26.00.
Order forms may be found online at www.ncde.appstate.edu/order/htm. Please indicate your chapter when ordering in the area on the order form entitled “How did you hear about the NCDE product you are ordering?”
We value your support and look forward to providing you with the most current research in the field of developmental education. If you are conducting program or scholarly research and would like to submit an article to RiDE please refer to Author’s Guidelines posted on the RiDE site above.
Sincerely,
Patrick Saxon, Coeditor
