TADE Professional Development Scholarship
$500 Scholarship Awarded Annually
Requirements:
Recipient
must be a TADE member in good standing.
Award
must be used for professional development may include project or research not
funded at the applicant's institution (does not include degree research). May reflect
professional travel or conference attendance not funded or fully funded at the
applicant's institution. Please indicate degree of institutional funding (if
any) with application.
Report
should be given at the following year's TADE Business meeting reflecting how
monies were used. If it is impossible for recipient to attend, a written report
should be sent to the organization president so members can learn how monies
were expended and how the award enhanced the member's professional development.
Procedures to Apply for Scholarship:
Applicant should send a letter of application giving biographical and contact information to the TADE President:

Applicant should attach no more than a page summary detailing the scholarship request. If the applicant is applying for the scholarship to attend a professional conference, institute or seminar, a brochure or "Call to Conference" should be attached. If the applicant is undertaking a project, specific details and needs should be outlined. A statement of institutional approval may be attached as well as the proposed budget for the project.

involves experimental subjects, please include your institution's endorsement
of your research. If
project is partially funded by your institution, please indicate how much. (This award is not
given for degree research)
